Info
On 6 November 2026 in London, Congo Natty brings The Rebel On the Road to Hootananny Brixton for a proper deep dive into the roots of UK jungle. Long before the term “bass culture” got overused, he was already connecting reggae, dub pressure and dancehall attitude with breakbeats and rave momentum, first under the Rebel MC name and later through the Congo Natty project.
This show is built for people who like their rhythms fast and their low end heavy: rolling breaks, sub-bass that sits in your chest, and ragga-flavoured vocals straight out of sound system tradition. Expect a set that moves between classic jungle energy and the more spiritual, roots-driven side of his catalogue, with that same thread of unity and resistance running through the night. Whether you grew up on early releases or came in via Jungle Revolution and beyond, it’s one for the heads and the newcomers alike.
