Info
On March 3, 2027, at History in Toronto, Cory Wong brings his tight, groove-first guitar music to the stage, right where funk precision meets jazz chops and pop immediacy. Known for clean rhythm playing, punchy horn-friendly arrangements, and that locked-in band chemistry, he builds sets that feel like songs but still leave room for the kind of collective improvisation that keeps things moving.
Featuring dodie, the night shifts into a more intimate lane: indie pop and folk built on close harmonies, direct lyrics, and a voice that sits front and center. Her songs move through mental health, relationships, and family without overexplaining, carried by acoustic textures and subtle orchestral touches.
Special guest PREP opens up the palette with their London-bred blend of soft-edged pop, R&B and 80s-leaning gloss: buoyant basslines, crisp rhythms, and smooth vocals that nod to city pop and yacht rock. Three acts, three different ways to chase the groove.
