Info
Lizzy McAlpine brings The Over Country Tour to Toronto on June 27, 2027, at Scotiabank Arena, with a set built for people who like their pop close to the skin. Her songwriting sits where folk instincts meet indie-pop clarity, with little flashes of jazz and R&B in the phrasing. From the acoustic focus of Give Me a Minute to the bigger, more produced turns of Five Seconds Flat and the quieter emotional control of Older, she’s kept that same intimate voice at the center, letting dynamics do the heavy lifting.
Searows opens the night with Alec Duckart’s soft-lit indie folk: acoustic guitar, layered harmonies, and lyrics that circle family, friendship, and solitude. It’s the kind of room-like sound that can feel huge in a big venue, especially when the tempos slow down and the details start to land.
Post Animal rounds out the bill with Chicago psych-rock that shifts shape song to song, trading vocals and writing across the lineup. Expect dense guitars, keys, stacked harmonies, and progressive turns that slide from off-kilter pop into heavier, hazier stretches.
