Since the early 2010s, Burnside has been shaping a sound that doesn’t stay in one lane: ballads that feel close-up, then tracks driven by a firmer pulse, sometimes nodding to Americana, sometimes slipping in unexpected rhythms he picked up while writing parts of Ephrata in Colombia. Expect a set that leans into contrast and momentum, with space for the newer material too, as he continues the path laid out across albums like Wear Bluebells in Your Hat If You’re Goin’ That Way and Teeth of Time.
