EPICA returns with The Symphonic Synergy, a tour conceived as a real playground for its symphonic metal: massive guitars, pulse-quickening rhythms, grand melodic themes, and that constant tension between lyric vocals and more extreme passages. To celebrate the band's 25th anniversary, Mark Jansen and his crew are revisiting the principle born in 2024: a stage-ready set, powered by a full orchestra and a choir, which broaden each track until they take on a film-score aura.
On October 8, 2027, at the Zénith in Paris, the idea is not to put on a simple concert "with strings," but to push EPICA's DNA to the limit: dense arrangements, choral crescendos, more atmospheric interludes, then back to sharper passages. A rare date on a handful of European stops, to hear this repertoire in a more cinematic version, without losing the metal impact that defines the band's signature.
