On March 9, 2027 at L’Antipode in Rennes, The Pineapple Thief will perform Far and Wide as part of its European tour. Led by Bruce Soord, a composer and producer with a keen sense of dynamics, the British band cultivates a progressive rock that is both melodic and atmospheric, where emotion flows through textures, rising tension, and writing that avoids showiness.
Since Gavin Harrison joined on drums, the outfit has gained precision and rhythmic clarity, while preserving that taste for melancholic atmospheres and contrasts. On stage, the 'An Evening With' format promises a set built like a narrative: tight, almost intimate passages, then songs that unfold into expansive sonic landscapes. Expect to hear the new album, but also landmark tracks from their career, from Your Wilderness to It Leads to This, in a concert designed to unfold at its own pace and carry you away.
