On September 10, 2026 at the Nouveau Casino in Paris, Milo Korbenski arrives with his lo-fi indie rock, both slack and live-wire. Behind his expressionless white mask, the Briton cultivates anonymity, but his songs are upfront: direct songwriting, melodies that stick, lyrics with tightly crafted wordplay, and a deliberately stripped-down production. Beneath the apparent simplicity, it crackles and grabs, with gritty guitars and darker undertones giving depth to the whole.
A craftsman to the core, Milo has long done everything himself, recording and self-producing a string of records before taking a step with When You Gonna Tell ’Em the Truth, Aaron? via Phantom Limb (Brighton), then Sex Angel. On stage, the tracks can take on another dimension, with a dynamic lineup and an energy often more abrasive than on the recordings.
