Between Buenos Aires and the tropical province of Misiones, La Yegros has made her nu-cumbia a playground where the folklore of northeastern Argentina meets tight electronic beats. For more than ten years, she has spread the same desire to dance by blending cumbia, chamamé, reggae, funk, and pop, with that sense of a direct, immediately catchy chorus. In her songs, she moves effortlessly from poetry to politics, and tells love in all its shades, from joyful ardor to darker corners.
On June 8, 2027, at the Espace Albert Camus in Bron, she steps onto the stage in a live format surrounded by musicians, for a set where percussion and bass respond to one another relentlessly. On stage, her voice leads the celebration, bridging South American traditions with club energy, and each track works as an invitation to move, with no pretense or superfluous decor.
