If you enjoy Andean folklore with well-crafted vocal work and choral arrangements that linger in your mind, Los Kjarkas return to the stage with that repertoire they’ve been refining since the mid-1970s. Born in Capinota, in Bolivia’s Cochabamba Department, the group built its own identity among huayño, cueca, bailecito, saya, and popular song, blending traditional melodies with vocal writing and a recognizably Andean instrumental sound from the very first measure.
Live, their strength lies in balance: direct emotion, precision in the harmonies, and that danceable pulse that has traversed decades of records and tours. Also part of their history is "Llorando se fue," a piece composed within the group that later went on to enjoy international life in the form of an adaptation. The event is on October 15, 2026 at the Palacio Vistalegre Arena in Madrid, to reunite with a living legend of the Andean songbook.
