Info
On October 1, 2026, Polyphia arrives at L’Olympia (Montreal) with its very particular sense of the riff: hyper-precise, ultra-cut, somewhere between prog, metal, hip-hop, funk, pop, and electronic textures. Led by Tim Henson and Scott LePage, the quartet has evolved its original shred into a more rhythmic writing, nourished by trap codes and punchy melodies, as heard from Muse to New Levels New Devils, then on Remember That You Will Die and its bold contrasts.
Intervals rounds out the bill with Aaron Marshall's project, a notable figure in Canadian prog metal. Here, everything is about balance: crisp virtuosity, complex grooves, ethereal harmonies, and a way of constructing tracks as architectures, without sacrificing fluidity or impact.
RJ Pasin opens the evening with a front-facing blend of metalcore, hyperpop, Jersey drill, and R&B. Guitar at the forefront, taut production, shifts in register mid-track: a hybrid format designed for the digital era, notably revealed by “Lobster”.
