On September 28, 2026, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, The B-52’s bring their unmistakable Athens-born mix of new wave, dance-rock and retro-pop back to the stage. Since the late 70s, they’ve built a sound that’s all nervous rhythms, surf-leaning guitars, bright keys and those instantly recognizable vocal lines switching between spoken phrases, tight harmonies and sharp chants. From “Rock Lobster” and the self-titled debut to the sleeker, groove-heavy turn of “Cosmic Thing”, their songs are made to move, with a playful edge that never feels forced.
Sharing the bill, DEVO land with their Akron-bred “de-evolution” concept: angular guitars, repetitive synth patterns, machine-like grooves and deadpan vocals aimed straight at social habits and consumer culture. From the Brian Eno-produced “Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!” through “Freedom of Choice” and “Whip It”, they’ve kept the same mix of art-rock precision and satire, backed by a visual identity built on rigid choreography and industrial-coded uniforms.
