On January 24, 2027 at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, Men Without Hats bring their You Can Dance If You Want Tour to Canada with a set built for the dancefloor. Led by Ivan Doroschuk since the early Montreal new wave days, the band’s keyboard-driven synth-pop has always relied on tight, repetitive rhythms and choruses that stick fast. Expect a live run through the era that put them on North American and European stages, from Rhythm of Youth to the more radio-ready Pop Goes the World, plus later material from their long-running return to touring and recording.

Sharing the bill the same night, Spoons come in with that early-80s Canadian new wave blend of synth-pop, nervy guitars, and pop melodies. Built around Gordon Deppe and Sandy Horne, their songs balance cool, metronomic grooves with hooks made for big singalongs, tied to classics like Romantic Traffic, Nova Heart, Old Emotions, and Tell No Lies. A double dose of vintage electronics and sharp choruses, without the museum vibe.
