Naomi Sharon

Rotterdam singer Naomi Sharon will perform at Melkweg, Amsterdam on 6 November 2026. With roots in Curaçao and the Netherlands, she writes restrained, introspective songs in which low vocal lines and a tight, airy production come together. Her sound moves between contemporary R&B, neo-soul, downtempo and a touch of sophisti-pop. After studying at the Academy of Theatre and Dance and appearing in musical productions such as The Lion King and Dreamgirls, she made her solo debut in 2019 with "The Moon", followed by "Breeze", which drew the attention of Drake. In 2023 she became the first female artist signed to OVO Sound and released her debut album, Obsidian.

Live, Naomi Sharon keeps close to the core of her music: atmospheric, precise and attentive to detail. Expect tracks from Obsidian alongside more recent work such as "Nothing Sweeter" (2024), with arrangements that slowly unfold and leave room for nuance.
