Mystery Jets

On 25 November 2026 at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, Mystery Jets step back into the spotlight with the blend of psych-tinged indie rock and melodic pop that has defined them since the early 2000s. Formed on Eel Pie Island around Blaine Harrison and William Rees, the band first made noise with DIY shows before releasing Making Dens in 2006. Twenty One in 2008 tightened the songwriting and delivered Young Love with Laura Marling, while Serotonin in 2010 pushed their pop-rock craft with broader production. Recorded partly in Austin, Radlands (2012) brought a warmer, Americana hue; Curve of the Earth (2016) leaned into dreamier textures; and A Billion Heartbeats (2020) sharpened the lyrical focus on social and political themes.

Through line-up changes, Mystery Jets have kept a clear identity: chiming keyboards, wiry guitars, and choruses that stay in the head without drowning the songs. On stage, they move easily between punchier anthems and more contemplative passages, letting the arrangements breathe without losing momentum.
