Info
On 17 September 2026, Jacob Collier brings The Light For Days Tour to Union Chapel, London. A London-born multi-instrumentalist and singer, Collier first stood out in the early 2010s with polyphonic reworks posted online, stacking voices and instruments into tight, visual arrangements. Since then he’s built a universe at the crossroads of jazz, pop, R&B and choral traditions, with dense harmonies, shifting meters and a knack for collective vocal architectures.
His debut album In My Room (2016) set the tone for a largely self-produced path. It opened into Djesse, a four-part cycle released between 2018 and 2024, each volume exploring a different palette: chamber-like intimacy, acoustic orchestral colours, electronic pop textures and song-driven forms. Along the way, Collier has collaborated with figures from jazz, pop and film music, from Herbie Hancock to Hans Zimmer.
On stage, he scales up these experiments with a band and live tools, moving from solo loops to ensemble energy. Expect re-harmonised themes, rhythmic pivots and layered vocals that morph in real time, weaving between originals and reimagined material. The Light For Days Tour distils this approach into a focused set built for shared listening and precise musicianship, close-up and collective at once.
