Journey « Final Frontier Tour (An Evening With) »

On September 28, 2026, Journey brings the Final Frontier Tour to SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon for an evening with the band. Formed in San Francisco in 1973 by alumni of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, Journey first explored jazz fusion and progressive rock before tightening their sound with the arrival of singer Steve Perry and the album Infinity in 1978, opening a more melodic chapter. In the early 80s they pushed into AOR and arena rock with Escape and Frontiers, balancing uptempo tracks and power ballads shaped by Neal Schon’s guitar lines and prominent keyboards.

Today the group revolves around guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain, with vocalist Arnel Pineda at the mic since 2007 and a run of releases including Revelation, Eclipse and Freedom (2022). On stage, they mix early cuts with songs from their 80s catalog and more recent material, building a set that traces the band’s long arc without fillers or frills—just Journey across the decades, played straight through for a full evening.
