Kevin Garrett plays The Lower Third, 26 Denmark Street, London, on 1 June 2026, bringing the intimate, piano-forward R&B he’s been shaping since the mid-2010s. Raised in Pittsburgh and now based in Brooklyn, the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist moves between contemporary R&B, soul and pop, with introspective lyrics and uncluttered arrangements where keys, gentle electronics and restrained vocals do the talking. He broke through with the EP Mellow Drama in 2015, followed by False Hope in 2017, then his debut album Hoax in 2019 and the EP Made Up Lost Time in 2020. He also co-wrote and co-produced Pray You Catch Me, the opening track of Beyoncé’s Lemonade, tying his name to a project nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys. On stage, Garrett keeps the focus tight and melodic, favoring space, subtle dynamics and slow-build hooks. He has toured with James Bay, Mumford & Sons, James Vincent McMorrow and Alessia Cara, and appeared at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch! and Firefly. In this room, the set centers on songs that unfold patiently, anchored by voice, piano and a quiet emotional pull.
