On April 5, 2027, at Royal Albert Hall in London, RY X brings his hushed, close-to-the-mic songwriting into a room made for resonance. Born Ry Cuming on Woodford Island, he’s built a singular space between indie folk, alt-pop and indietronica, where acoustic guitar meets discreet electronics and a voice that seems to hang in the air. After stepping out internationally with the Berlin EP, he kept refining a minimalist approach across Dawn, Unfurl and Blood Moon, songs that move by small shifts in texture and tension rather than big gestures.
On stage, that precision matters: the silences, the pulse under the melodies, the way a chorus arrives almost accidentally. This London date also sits in the wider arc of his parallel adventures, from the electronic trio The Acid to Howling with Frank Wiedemann, plus collaborations that have stretched his palette.
