Mica Paris performs on 7 August 2026 at 5:30 pm at Soul Mama Islington, London. She has released many singles and albums. She also works in theatre and television.
In 1988 she released her debut album "So Good". She followed with albums and singles including "Black Angel", "Stay" and "Carefree", and has collaborated with artists such as Prince and Jools Holland. Her most recent album "Gospel" was released.
The album features an original song "The Struggle", telling the story of Mica's meeting with Gladys Knight, as well as versions of Rag'n'Bone Man's "Human"; John Newton's hymn "Amazing Grace"; Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is"; and U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".
Mica was awarded an MBE in the 2020 Birthday Honours for services to music, entertainment and charity.
