Bilmuri plays O2 Victoria Warehouse in Stretford on 26 June 2026. The project of Ohio musician Johnny Franck (ex-Attack Attack!), Bilmuri moves between post-hardcore, melodic metalcore and emo-pop, with pop rock turns, electronic textures and occasional brass. In the studio it’s a solo vehicle; on stage, a rotating live band carries the set. Working with a DIY approach, the project favors short, regular releases over the traditional album cycle: Rich Sips (2019), Eggy Pocket (2020), Goblin Hours (2022) and American Motor Sports (2023).
Over the years, the writing has shifted from heavier metalcore roots toward more sung material, built around clear hooks and lyrics that blend online references with introspective themes. Live, Bilmuri revisits this hybrid catalog, alternating weightier cuts and brighter, big-chorus moments, with arrangements that play the contrast between distortion, electronics and brass.
