Info

On 20 October 2026 at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls in Wolverhampton, Alice Cooper arrives with the Devil on My Shoulder Book Tour. Born Vincent Furnier in Detroit, he first fronted the late‑60s band that took the name Alice Cooper, mixing hard rock with horror‑tinged theatre on albums like Love It to Death, Killer and School’s Out. After the group split, he kept the name and went solo with Welcome to My Nightmare, then moved through heavy, classic and glam shades across the decades, up to Detroit Stories. That blend of narrative, visual tricks and a grainy, unmistakable voice has shaped his stage language ever since.

For this date, he turns performer into storyteller. He looks back on the early Phoenix years, the shift from band to solo act, studio sessions, stage ideas and the characters that followed him on tour. Stories and reflections draw a line from the songs to the spectacle, showing how the music and the theatre fed each other across time, told with the dry humor and sense of craft that run through his work.
