Temples

On 22 October 2026 the Temples arrive at the Locomotiv Club in Bologna — the Kettering band pushing their psych-rock into new territory with BLISS. After Exotico (2023), the group reinterprets its roots through the filter of late-’90s and early-2000s dance: pulsing rhythms, prominent synths and that “melancholic euphoria” that blends energy and nostalgia. Among the declared influences are Faithless, Underworld, Massive Attack and Portishead — not mere pastiche, but an electronic vocabulary integrated into spare structures that leave room for melodies and harmonies.

For the new material Temples chose to self-produce, working side by side in the same space and experimenting with samplers to rework ideas and sounds. The result is a more instinctive, direct songwriting approach, with tracks that interlock layered guitars, foreground vocals and grooves built for the stage. In concert, between the single “Vendetta” and songs from their catalogue, the set moves through psych-pop passages, motorik pulses and Balearic echoes, retaining the immediacy that has accompanied the band since their beginnings.
