Allah-Las

Allah-Las play Whelan’s, 25 Wexford Street, Dublin 2, Ireland, on 31 August 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in the late 2000s by Miles Michaud, Pedrum Siadatian, Spencer Dunham and Matthew Correia, the band digs into 60s rock with a record-shop mentality. Their sound folds garage rock, surf currents, soft psych and folk-rock into lean rhythms, reverb-laced guitars and close harmonies, with production that favors grain and texture over gloss.

Their set typically spans the self-titled debut from 2012 (produced by Nick Waterhouse), the coastal sway of Worship the Sun (2014) and the pop-tinged shades of Calico Review (2016), then opens up with LAHS (2019) and Zuma 85 (2023), where the palette turns a bit more psych-pop and exploratory while keeping songwriting tight. Between drifting instrumentals and concise tunes, the flow often mirrors the deep-dive spirit of their Reverberation Radio project, reflecting a habit of unearthing overlooked sounds and threading them into a relaxed, focused live groove.
