On March 5, 2027, Hermanos Gutierrez bring their twin-guitar world to Vicar Street in Dublin. The Zurich-based brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutierrez build everything around a tight dialogue between two guitars: no vocals, no clutter, just melodies that move slowly and leave space to breathe.
Active since the mid-2010s, their sound sits somewhere between twilight western moods, Latin American echoes, a hint of slow surf, and a touch of Americana. Over a run of albums from 8 Años to Hijos del Sol, they’ve sharpened a stripped-back approach: simple themes, plenty of reverb, and tempos that let every note hang in the air. More recently, Alegría and El Bueno y El Malo, recorded with producer Dan Auerbach, pushed that cinematic instrumental language onto bigger European and US stages. In Dublin, expect a set built for getting lost in landscapes, with two guitars leading the whole trip.
