Info
On 17 November 2026 at the Bataclan, Currents and Erra will deliver a metalcore evening balancing tension and melody, with Caskets and Aviana in support.
From Connecticut, Currents moves forward without compromise. Carried by Brian Wille’s contrasting voice and the guitars of Chris Wiseman and Ryan Castaldi, the band blends staccato riffs, sharp breaks and airier sonic layers. Their new EP, All That Follows (2025), born on the road, shaped with Ryan Leitru and co-produced by Brian and Chris, lines up tracks with pronounced edges: "It Only Gets Darker," "My Severance," "Making Circles," "Can’t Turn Back" and "Rise & Fall." The lyrics probe exploitation, the loss of bearings, betrayal and anxiety about the future, transformed on stage into a collective discharge driven by the rhythm section of Matt Young and Christian Pulgarin. From their early records to The Death We Seek (2023), Currents has honed an incisive yet melodic balance that fully asserts itself live.
Erra, formed in Alabama around Jesse Cash and vocalist J.T. Cavey, pushes the dial toward a more progressive metalcore. Technical riffs, shifting time signatures and atmospheric passages coexist across their work, from the self-titled album (2021) to Cure (2024). On stage, the band navigates between density and clarity, emphasizes the contrast between screamed and melodic vocals, and creates atmospheres that let the intensity breathe without letting up.
