Wage War

On 22 January 2027 at Le Trabendo in Paris, Wage War brings its Florida-made metalcore with a set built on contrasts: clean vocals against abrasive screams, massive riffs, melodic choruses and hard-hitting breakdowns. Formed in Ocala, the quintet comprises Briton Bond on vocals, Cody Quistad and Seth Blake on guitars, Chris Gaylord on bass and Stephen Kluesener on drums. From Blueprints (2015) to Manic (2021), the band has honed its songwriting without letting go of heavy tension or melodic hooks. With Stigma (2024), they add an industrial edge and an electronic sheen that further broaden their spectrum, driven by singles like "Magnetic."

On stage, Wage War navigates between full-on impacts and more open passages, stringing together staples such as "Stitch," "Low," "Manic" and "Circle The Drain" alongside new material. The sound stays precise, the rhythm section keeps things tight, and the guitars carve out hooks designed for live performance. This return to Paris highlights the evolution of a band that has mastered the art of combining power, dynamics and melody without losing sight of chorus effectiveness.
