On 12 December 2026, Stig Rossen brings Årets Julekoncert 2026 to Falkoner Salen in Frederiksberg. The Danish singer and actor forged his path in musical theatre, from the West End production of Les Misérables, where he took on the role of Jean Valjean, to a steady solo career back home. Alongside pop ballads and standards, he has developed a broad Christmas repertoire in Danish and English; since the 1990s, his seasonal concerts have brought together carols, narrative songs and melodic pop in a single programme. His stage practice and his work as the Danish singing voice in Disney’s The Lion King shape a delivery anchored in storytelling and phrasing. For this concert, he revisits traditional and contemporary holiday songs in both languages, with nods to the musical theatre songbook and the melodic pop that runs through his discography, arranged for a concert hall setting.
