Burhan G

Danish pop and R&B artist Burhan G plays Royal Arena Copenhagen on April 23, 2027. Born in Brøndby Strand to a Kurdish family from Turkey, he trained with the Copenhagen Boys Choir before stepping out as a solo singer. His first chapters, Playground (2004) and Breakout (2007), leaned into English-language R&B with a pop edge. From 2010, the self-titled Burhan G marked a move to Danish, tightening his writing while keeping the R&B pulse, with collaborations alongside Nik & Jay and Medina. The albums Din fortid er glemt (2013) and Pas på pigerne (2015) pushed further into direct stories about relationships and the everyday, on productions that range from electronic ballads to uptempo tracks. Alongside his own releases, he writes and composes for other Danish artists, staying close to Copenhagen’s pop and R&B scene. On stage, he moves between ballads and danceable cuts, drawing from early English-language work and his Danish-era catalogue.
