Sombr brings the You Are The Reason Tour to Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, on November 17, 2026. Born in New York and now based in Los Angeles, Shane Michael Boose shapes his Sombr project at the crossroads of alternative rock, indie rock and alternative pop. Early tracks like Nothing Left to Say and Caroline led to the Tony Berg co-produced EP In Another Life and, in 2025, the debut album I Barely Know Her, trailed by Back to Friends, Undressed, We Never Dated and 12 to 12. On stage, he moves from close-up ballads to guitar-led crescendos, with a clear vocal front and center, drawing on touchstones from Jeff Buckley and Radiohead to Phoebe Bridgers while keeping a pop instinct wired to Bowie, Prince or Oasis. After stints opening for Nessa Barrett and Daniel Seavey, he now rolls out a headline set for larger rooms without losing the intimate tone of his early recordings.
Hannah Jadagu joins the bill with an indie pop that threads direct songwriting through dream-pop haze and bedroom-born textures. Raised in Mesquite, Texas and living in New York, she released the Sub Pop EP What Is Going On? in 2021 before expanding her palette on the 2023 album Aperture. Live, reverb-soaked guitars, upfront vocals and discreet electronic touches frame songs about coming of age, family and everyday snapshots from a young Black woman’s perspective.
