The two Gascon farmers of The Inspector Cluzo released their 10th LP, Less Is More, in June 2025 on their own label, as they have done since the start of their career 20 years ago. The album, produced by their mentor Vance Powell in Nashville and recorded live over four days, was named the fifth best album of 2025 by Rolling Stone.
During the summer of 2025 they opened for Neil Young in Europe in July and for Clutch in the U.S., in the Midwest. They will return between September and October 2026 for a 40-date tour across the far reaches of the U.S. and Canada.
Still self-producing by choice and refusing to sign with any label or booking agent, the band continues to implement, both on their farm and in their music, a post-growth economy—locally and globally—that they believe is better suited to climate change.
