Eric Bibb

Eric Bibb comes to Worpswede: on 23 October 2026 at Music Hall Worpswede. The U.S. singer, songwriter and guitarist blends blues, gospel and folk into grounded songs carried by a velvety voice and delicate fingerpicking. Raised in the New York folk scene around his father Leon Bibb as well as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Pete Seeger, he remains shaped by a storytelling, human-centered approach.

His setlist spans from Ridin’ (2023) and In The Real World (2024) to One Mississippi (2026), where soul and Americana resonate. On stage Bibb favors intimacy over effects: voice, guitar, a relaxed groove and lyrics that speak of peace, solidarity and the roots of the blues.

Alongside numerous awards, he has been nominated for a Grammy three times; live he especially demonstrates the art of stripped-back playing and clear, direct phrasing. This concert puts the storytelling power of the blues at the center and allows space for songs that linger.
