Info
On 13 November 2026, Westside Cowboy arrive at Petit Bain in Paris. The Manchester quartet—Aoife Anson O’Connell, James “Jimmy” Bradbury, Paddy Murphy and Reuben Haycocks—craft a raw, direct sound that sits between country, indie rock and rock ’n’ roll. They call it “Britainicana,” an Americana filtered through the lens of small English towns: broad melodies, twitchy guitars, dry drums, without unnecessary polish. You can hear the melodic sweep of Teenage Fanclub and the loose feel of Pavement, with an unabashed lo-fi grain.
On stage the band plays tight and prioritizes the collective, steering their songs toward their most immediate, direct side. Their EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, released in January 2026 and recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey, captures that tension between catchy choruses and folk-country inflections without resorting to pastiche. After a UK tour in early 2026, U.S. dates in late 2025, shared bills with Geese and Black Country, New Road, and appearances at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road, Westside Cowboy come to Paris to present this dry, melodic, no‑frills blend.
