Stephan Eicher

On 17 November 2026 at the Limoges Opera House, Stephan Eicher presents Poussière d’Or, a new repertoire shaped closely around his favorite instruments, the piano and the guitar. These songs, born in the silence between two clamors, bear the imprint of his writing collaborators, Philippe Djian and Martin Suter. First harmonies sketched in solitude, then hands joining in, arrangements woven together, until those sketches become pieces to be shared on stage.

Since his beginnings between post‑punk and new wave with Grauzone, and a singular path in Francophone song, Eicher navigates between folk, pop and electronic touches, without forsaking simplicity. His voice moves across languages, his lyrics shift from the intimate to the panoramic, and his concerts prioritize listening and a communal impulse. In Limoges, Poussière d’Or takes shape live: melodies carried by a clear piano, guitars in balance, the rapport of musicians who let each track breathe. A moment refocused on the essentials, where the songs take center stage and are shared without artifice.
