Jacob Collier brings The Light For Days Tour to the Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres in Toronto on October 4, 2026. London-born and raised in a family of musicians, the multi-instrumentalist first drew attention in the early 2010s with split-screen arrangements that stacked voices, keys, bass and percussion into vivid polyphony. Since then, he’s traced his own path between jazz, pop, R&B and choral traditions, favoring dense harmonies, shifting meters and a taste for collective vocal architecture. His studio journey runs from the self-produced In My Room to the four-part Djesse cycle (2018–2024), each volume opening a different sound world, from chamber textures to orchestral colors and electronic pop.

On stage, Collier moves nimbly between instruments and live looping, building arrangements in real time and inviting the room to become a choir through call-and-response and multipart sing-alongs. The show draws across his catalog and collaborations, reworking songs with fresh grooves, reharmonizations and rhythmic detours.
