Les Wriggles

Les Wriggles return to the stage at the Rockstore in Montpellier on March 6, 2027. Born in the bustling café‑theatre scene of the 1990s, they have built a multi‑voiced francophone repertoire where humor meets observations of everyday life and finely crafted songwriting. Guitars slung over their shoulders and vocal harmonies front and center, they weave together sung sketches, off‑kilter ballads and small vignettes of life, with the offbeat sensibility that has become the group’s trademark.

From their first album Justice avec des saucisses to Ah bah ouais, mais bon…, then Moi d’abord and Tant pis ! Tant mieux !, their trajectory has seen the lineup evolve without losing direction: tight ensemble work, lyrics that playfully probe the era’s foibles, and a stage presence conceived as a musical show. After a break, Les Wriggles restarted the engine with a refreshed lineup, reworked material and new songs, still in that vein of sung comedy. In Montpellier they can be experienced live, where their voices and short sketches come into full relief.
