10cc

On 14 June 2026 the British band 10cc will perform at Zuiderpark Live in the Zuiderparktheater in The Hague. Since 1972 10cc has been developing an idiosyncratic blend of melodic pop-rock, art-rock influences and clever lyrics, marked by distinctive multi-part vocals and carefully constructed arrangements. The group formed in Stockport around Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme — musicians who honed their craft in the studio and wrote and produced songs for others before setting their own course with 10cc.

With albums such as The Original Soundtrack and How Dare You! the band refined a studio approach in which atmospheric ballads sit alongside more immediate pop songs, with narrative lyrics remaining central. After Godley and Creme left in 1976, Gouldman and Stewart continued in the same vein with Deceptive Bends and Bloody Tourists, with the sound becoming more open without losing its finesse. Today 10cc performs live around Graham Gouldman with a refreshed lineup. Expect a set that brings the broad repertoire to life: tightly played, rich in harmonies and featuring those characteristic 10cc twists that still keep the songs sounding fresh on stage.
