Yes

Yes is scheduled to perform on May 6, 2026, at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The British progressive rock band was formed in London in 1968 around singer Jon Anderson and bassist Chris Squire. From the start Yes pushed the boundaries between psychedelic rock, classical influences and subtle jazz inflections: long compositions, layered structures, distinctive vocal harmonies and extended instrumental passages. With The Yes Album and Fragile (both 1971) and Close to the Edge (1972), the group set the tone, helped in part by the arrival of guitarist Steve Howe and keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who steered the sound toward symphonic rock. In the 1980s they opted for more compact, radio-oriented songs with 90125 (1983), featuring Trevor Rabin on guitar and Trevor Horn as producer. Later came periods of changing line-ups and a return to more expansive prog on Talk (1994), The Ladder (1999) and Magnification (2001). After Chris Squire's death in 2015, Billy Sherwood took over on bass, and since 2012 Jon Davison has provided the vocals. More recently, the band has released studio albums such as The Quest (2021) and Mirror to the Sky (2023).
