Charlélie Couture

Charlélie Couture returns solo with SOLISSIMO, a face-to-face he knows well: an artist, a stage, songs. On 19 May 2026 at the Café de la Danse in Paris, he reopens the door to that direct dialogue he began very young, when he played alone in small venues, told stories and let digressions run. Taking the stage alone is to accept risk, to move forward without landmarks, to leave something to chance. It is also what gives rise to that particular kind of listening between the artist and the audience.

SOLISSIMO offers a different repertoire, conceived as a return to essentials. The pieces appear in stripped-down versions, close to their original form, where his spoken-sung delivery moves between chanson, rock and blues without unnecessary effects. The concert takes on the air of a treasure hunt: a thread, branches, improvisation when the moment calls for it, and that closeness that establishes genuine intimacy. Between storytelling and music, Charlélie Couture brings his songs back to the surface, as close as possible to their core, for an evening tailored to the Café de la Danse.
