Southern Hospitality Tour rolls into Toronto on July 21, 2026 at RBC Amphitheatre, 909 Lake Shore Boulevard West. The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers share the stage, with Southall opening a night rooted in southern rock, country grit and blues influences.
Formed in Marietta, Georgia by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, The Black Crowes fuse blues, soul and 70s-leaning rock. Breakthrough album Shake Your Money Maker put Hard to Handle and She Talks to Angels on radios worldwide, followed by The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion and a run of long, improvisation-friendly tours. After pauses and returns, the band is back in stride, with their 2024 album Happiness Bastards marking a fresh chapter.
From Palestine, Texas, Whiskey Myers mixes country storytelling, classic rock guitars and a straightforward rhythm section. Early records like Road of Life and Firewater set the tone, while Early Morning Shakes and Mud with producer Dave Cobb sharpened the sound. The self-titled Whiskey Myers (2019) and Tornillo (2022) confirm a blend of roots themes and electric punch.
Opening, Southall brings red dirt textures from Stillwater, Oklahoma. Led by Read Southall, the band moves between southern rock drive and folk-tinged ballads, from Borrowed Time and Live at Tower Theatre to Smokin’ Wings & Broken Things, For The Birds and the denser, self-titled Southall.
