Info
On March 28, 2027, at Massey Hall in Toronto, Kenny Wayne Shepherd brings his blues-rock back to the stage with the kind of direct, electric set that’s been his signature since the mid-90s. Raised on Texas blues vocabulary and the shadow of Stevie Ray Vaughan, he turns that heritage into sharp, modern playing: big bends, tight riffs, and melodic lines that keep the groove moving without losing the grit.
Whether he’s leaning into his own catalog or revisiting blues standards, Shepherd’s live shows are built around energy and dynamics, with the band pushing a power-trio feel that leaves plenty of room for the guitar to speak. Expect a set that moves between raw drive and more lyrical moments, shaped by years of touring and a discography that runs from Ledbetter Heights through Trouble Is..., Lay It On Down, The Traveler, and his more recent Dirt On My Diamonds, Vol. 1.
