Samuel Bambi « Machine ! »

Samuel Bambi arrives solo with Machine!, a stand-up that unveils the beating heart beneath a boyish face. Spotted early on open-mic stages, he began at 17, burst onto the scene as a duo with Younès in L’Arabe et le Juif, and then joined the Jamel Comedy Club troupe. Through numerous line-ups and tours, he has refined a writing style nourished by observations of everyday life, cultural contrasts, and characters who appear at just the right moment.

Between shows, Samuel Bambi has also performed in theater and tried his hand at television, broadening his palette before embracing the solo format. On stage he keeps moving forward no matter what, much like the Titanic’s orchestra that continues to play. He calls himself daring and hilarious, but what stands out most is his sense of timing, self-deprecation, and a direct, no-frills approach.
