Déportivo, a power trio formed in Bois-d’Arcy around Jérôme Coudanne, Richard Magnac and Julien Bonnet, hit the road again after seven years of silence. Their comeback was announced at La Cigale on 14 October 2022, forward-looking rather than nostalgic. True to its clear line, the band moves forward with direct rock, fed by indie and punk—taut guitars, tight rhythms and a spoken-sung vocal in French. An identity shaped for the stage, forged in clubs and festivals since the late 1990s.

Buoyed by an audience that stayed faithful, from Lyon to Rennes, from Paris to Brest, the tour gathered intimate venues and spontaneous energy. On stage, songs from Parmi eux (2004) and Deportivo (2007) intersect with the openings of Ivres et débutants (2011) and the contrasts of Domino (2013), in a no-frills power-trio format that lets the songs speak for themselves.

Next stop: 20 February 2026 at EMB Sannois - Espace Michel Berger, in Sannois. An evening to pick up the thread with a band that plays tightly and looks ahead. Déportivo is no longer merely back; it is moving forward.
