Québécoise singer-songwriter Lynda Lemay unfolds her everyday chronicles with a precise pen, balancing discreet humor and lucid tenderness. Her clear voice carries portraits and scenes of life, supported by spare melodies that let each word take its place. The program includes signature songs as well as more recent pieces, reappropriated for the duo.
French guitarist and composer Jean-Félix Lalanne lays down delicate textures, in fingerpicking or on nylon strings, between arpeggios, countermelodies and melodic punctuations. His playing sketches the setting, supports the narration and opens instrumental spaces without crowding the text.
Together they seek the voice-guitar balance, rearrange Lynda’s songs, slip in instrumental passages and prioritize listening. An intimate musical tête-à-tête that one attends for the closeness, the precision of the words and the grain of the strings, as close to the stage as possible.
