Info
Garou will perform solo in Mons. The Québécois singer, born Pierre Garand in Sherbrooke, broke through in the late 1990s with his role as Quasimodo in the musical Notre-Dame de Paris. Since then he has built a career spanning chanson, pop, soul and blues. His first solo album Seul (2000) set the tone, followed by Reviens, Piece of My Soul and Soul City. His distinctive, slightly raspy voice and his flair for interpretation color both his original songs and his covers.
In this solo setup everything is about the essentials: voice, songs and storytelling, with no frills. Expect a set that draws on his classics and his francophone and anglophone influences. Over the years he has shared studio and stage with, among others, Céline Dion, Michel Sardou and Roch Voisine, and has performed on numerous stages beyond Canada and France.
Join us on 31 January 2027 at the Théâtre Royal, Grand Place, Mons — an opportunity to hear Garou up close and rediscover his repertoire in a direct, intimate setting.
