Founded in 1986, Elmer Food Beat has spanned four decades without changing course: straightforward choruses, a defiant spirit and energizing stage presence. Nearly a million records sold, gold and platinum discs, a Victoire de la Musique award, a sold-out Olympia, over a thousand concerts—and still the same drive to go at it. In 2026 the band launches the Re-Tour to celebrate its 40th anniversary and puts their album 30 cm back in the spotlight, performed in full. With the return of Kelu, a companion from the early years, Elmer returns as a five-piece, as in the old days. On March 21, 2026 at the Cabaret Vauban in Brest, the show promises a journey through their repertoire: signature songs, nods to their beginnings and double-entendre lyrics that shaped their identity, between straight-ahead rock and a party spirit. Not frozen nostalgia, but a desire to share a story that’s still alive, carried by a band that knows what it means to play together.
