La Grande Sophie returns to the stage alone in an intimate format drawn from her book Tous les jours, Suzanne, adapted and staged by Johanna Boyé. Between readings and songs, she retraces her path and revisits nine albums, from standout tracks to memorable encounters. She summons childhood memories, travels, moods, and the behind-the-scenes of a profession in flux, shaped by the evolution of tools and sounds.
She cultivates the art of correspondence — a way of addressing the audience directly, allowing everyday details and intimate confidences that reveal a life to surface. Humor answers emotion to sketch the portrait of an artist who moves with her times while staying true to her desires.
La Grande Sophie will be at Le Radiant - Bellevue, Caluire-et-Cuire, on December 2, 2026, with this solo show that mixes text and melodies and opens a window onto her path as an author-composer.
