Since the late arrival of his first child, the comedian has seen his bearings shift and his certainties fray. He turns this into a self-deprecating tale of very concrete situations, following a novice father learning to cope with a world saturated with injunctions, notifications and unsolicited opinions.

Caught between the upbringing his parents gave him and the codes of a more contemporary fatherhood, he searches for the right distance, hesitates, gets it wrong, and starts again. How do you talk about gender to your son when you don’t even know TikTok? How do you avoid being labeled a “boomer” when you discover parenthood in the age of how‑to videos and apps? Madénian recounts his missteps, his failures and the small lessons reflected back by a newborn who, without warning, rearranges everything.

With tight writing and an eye for detail, he turns everyday life into material for laughter and reflection, without superfluous effects. A slice of life told in the present tense, where learning, tenderness and a gentle panic mingle, and where one recognizes both the parent and the child growing up together.
