Info
On 11 September 2027, O2 Academy Liverpool hosts From the Jam, a night rooted in the sharp, melodic rush that made The Jam a key UK band at the turn of the late 70s and early 80s. Expect the set to lean into that tight triangle of mod revival edge, punk drive and power-pop punch, with songs built on clipped guitars, upfront bass lines and choruses that hit fast and clean.
The Jam’s legacy sits in the way they moved from the raw energy of their early years to more detailed, story-led writing without losing tension. From the early surge of In the City and This Is the Modern World through the focus and bite of All Mod Cons, Setting Sons and Sound Affects, the material balances social observation with pure momentum. This Liverpool date is for anyone who wants that sound in a live setting: direct, nervy, and built to be played loud.
