Info
Spin Doctors come to Melkweg in Amsterdam on May 19, 2027, with that characteristic mix of alternative rock, funk rock, and pop rock, played with a loose jam-session vibe. The band formed in the late 1980s in New York and built a reputation there in the club scene, with a playing style in which the song always remains the backbone, but there is enough room to let loose live.
Expect a set that looks back to the period when Pocket Full of Kryptonite put them on the map in the early 1990s, with songs like Two Princes and Little Miss Can't Be Wrong. At the same time, this concert also connects to their later work, in which they shifted toward blues-rock, with albums such as If the River Was Whiskey, and to the more recent phase around the announcement of Face Full of Cake. An evening for those who love tight hooks, groove, and a band that loves to move on stage.
