Info
On May 7, 2027, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox brings “The Future Is Vintage World Tour” to Midway Music Hall in Edmonton, turning today’s pop culture into a night of old-school musicianship. Led by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, this ever-evolving collective takes modern hits and rebuilds them in period styles: swing, jazz, ragtime, doo-wop, soul, big band. The fun is in the twist: familiar melodies come back dressed like timeless standards, with new grooves, tight arrangements, and room for virtuoso playing.
Because the lineup rotates, each stop feels like its own edition of the project, with guest vocalists stepping in and changing the mood from one song to the next. Expect sharp transitions, playful reinterpretations, and that retro energy that made PMJ a live favorite after its viral start online. This Edmonton date is a chance to hear well-known songs reframed as if they’d always belonged to another era.
